about.me.09.18.2006 To describe me in one sentence isn't possible. I am one of those enigmatic persons that would prefer to stay within the safe confines of my home without you ever genuinely getting to know me at an intimate level. Intimacy, I don't consider as a sexual word. Intimate to me means sharing the innermost facets of your person with another human being and being at your most vulnerable level. The individuals that know me... truly know me... can be found on my Meds at Nine page. Having been betrayed by those with their own hidden agendas and self-interests further solidifies this concept of just becoming a reclusive individual that minds her own business and tends only to a tight circle of people. Besides, I have everything that I need and want... from an existence perspective. Most, if not everything, from my favorite products to my , can be shipped directly to my house. Again, no need to leave the safe, comfortable confines of my humble abode. However, living life in a square box is not considered true living... or experience of life, therefore I choose very, very carefully with whom I associate with. The old adage, "you are known by the company you keep" rings truth. So, those who are dearest to me are people who are of the highest moral character. They hold morals and ideals that are identical to mine. I shun those who lead toxic lifestyles. Drama is reserved for the big screen. The fascination of bad behavior can be thrilling in theatrics, but is avoided in real life. Some are easily enamored by the toys and technology (amongst other things...) that I have, but when it all comes down to it - my assets are pure liabilities. To know me is much more difficult than you believe. I'm not starved for attention and affection. As a whole person, who can identify for who I am, what I believe in and who I choose to associate with... there is fierce loyalty, a genuine and authentic person that will do what I promise to those dear to me. A tell-it-like-it-is no b.s. person that would truly take a bullet for her closest friends. What you see is what you get. No sugar coating. No lies. No betrayal. |
